Niagara Falls is one of the most notable landmarks in the United States. The falls is actually made up of three waterfalls and is located on the border between the United States and Canada. You can view the falls from either the United States or Canada. The three waterfalls are called the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls, and the Bridal Veil Falls.
Depending on what time of year you go the falls it can be quite chilly so be sure to check the weather to dress accordingly. I have gone both in May and in December. I prefer to go in the summer as I don’t do so well in the cold. I like my shorts and rompers so I will still to visiting in the summer.
There are different attractions and experiences you can take while in Niagara. These include theCave of the Winds Tour, Maid of the Mist boat tour, Niagara Scenic Trolley, Discovery Center, Hiking in the Niagara Gorge, and the Observation Tower. There is also a firework show during certain times of the year. It is a really beautiful sight to see the fireworks over the falls. Not all of these experiences are available year round so you’ll want to keep that in mind when you plan your visit.
