Top 3 Travel Tips

Whether you are traveling for  business or for pleasure these are my top 3 tips to having a successful journey.

  1. Stay Hydrated – Most of us have been told at one point or another that we should drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water a day. It is especially important to drink water and stay hydrated when traveling by plane. Due to the low humidity levels on an aircraft, those long or multiple flights can take a toll on your body. Bring an empty water bottle with you and fill it at a water fountain or ask your friendly flight attendant to fill you up to help you stay hydrated.
  2. Bring Entertainment – If you are anything like me, I cannot sit and twiddle my thumbs for extended periods of time. I need something to pass the time while either waiting to board my flight, during the flight, or between flights. I recommend bringing a book, magazine, some sort of electronic device (laptop, iPad, tablet, etc.), or a coloring book to help pass the time.
  3. Be Prepared – Make sure you have everything you might need before leaving on your trip. Have all important documentation with you. You don’t want to get all the way to the airport just to be denied check in because you forgot your passport or ID at home.
